Who we’re looking for:

Our ideal candidate is adaptable, detail oriented and has a positive can-do attitude. This role is geared for those who have an entrepreneurial spirit who are looking for a meaningful role. Your will be responsible for managing the growth of a new endeavor and developing a unique culture where others thrive.


Responsibilities of the positions will include:

  • Providing oversight of all operations, amenities and member service infrastructure
  • Creativity with program design
  • Following international industry trends
  • Engaging the Marquette Chamber community to promote internal programming
  • Providing exceptional customer service and operational leadership
  • Fostering relationships with key vendors to provide services and amenities
  • Driving membership occupancy through marketing, events & engagements
  • Front desk management
  • Balancing member needs along with the admin responsibilities
  • Manage daily accounting (training provided)
  • Supervising support volunteers
  • Maintain the physical upkeep of the office
  • Handling new membership inquiries
  • Providing tours of the space
  • Event set-up and management


Our ideal candidate

  • Is a people person that finds working with others a source of energy
  • Highly flexible and easy to adapt to challenges on the fly
  • Has an understanding of the coworking movement and its practices
  • Exhibits an exceptional level of attention to detail and customer service
  • Has completed a Bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality management communications, marketing or related field
  • Must be a team player, willing to help, who is excited about coworking
  • Has excellent communication skills & problem-solving abilities
  • Demonstrates proficient utilization of support technology within the space
  • Works resourcefully within a budget
  • Can work well autonomously and within a team
  • Is passionate about Marquette and being a part of something big


The right candidate will be offered;

  • $11-$13/hr depending on experience
  • 20 hours per week to start
  • Additional hours, up to full time, dependent on growth of Ampersand
  • Bonus structure based on performance
